Adult Speech Therapy:

Being able to communicate and eat are two of the most important and enjoyable parts of life. As an adult, losing your speech, language, and/or swallowing skills can be devastating. Here at Edward, we have therapists that are experienced in addressing many areas of need that are of concern to you. Therapy can include tasks to improve your ability to communicate, to understand others, to utilize thinking skills and effective problem solving skills, and/or to swallow foods.

We use an individualized treatment protocol that is nearly. We provide progressive one-on-one care that utilizes the same therapist throughout the length of your treatment.  We strive to develop an individual relationship with you, so that you become more than just a “patient.”  These relationships allow us to partner with you to achieve your personal goals.

Pediatric Speech Therapy:

Communication and swallowing are two of life’s most important tasks. For children, proper development of speech and language skills is imperative in ensuring their ability to learn, explore their environment, interact with others, and communicate their wants/needs. Additionally, gaining adequate nutrition directly affects a child’s brain development and overall growth.

Whether you have concerns regarding your child’s ability to use sounds and words to communicate with others, to be understood when speaking, to understand others, or to successfully swallow a variety of foods, we have experienced pediatric therapists who are ready to address your child’s areas of need.

We provide progressive one-on-one care that utilizes the same therapist throughout the length of your child’s treatment. We work closely with teachers, school therapists, and caregivers to coordinate sessions that address your child’s specific needs. Our treatment rooms are specially designed for children and offer an observation area with headsets and one-way mirrors.
